Most people judge a business by its website before they speak to anyone there. That makes choosing who builds it one of the more consequential decisions a Singapore SME makes — and one of the harder ones, because every agency’s own site says roughly the same thing.
This comparison covers ten established web design and development companies in Singapore. For each one we’ve listed when they were founded, what they actually do, who they’ve worked for, and what they charge where that information is public. No agency paid to appear here.
A note on our own inclusion: Awebstar is one of the ten, and we’ve listed ourselves first. Read our entry with that in mind and judge us on the same criteria as everyone else — client list, review count, years in operation, and whether the work in the portfolio looks like what you want.
How we compiled this list
Every company below meets four criteria:
- Singapore-registered and Singapore-based — not a regional office or an overseas team with a local number
- At least five years in operation — long enough to have a track record
- A public portfolio you can inspect without filling in a form
- Verifiable client work — named clients, not stock logos
We excluded template-only builders and freelance marketplaces. Everything here is a full-service design and development company.

1. Awebstar Technologies

Awebstar has been designing and building websites in Singapore since 2007, from an office in Raffles Place. The work spans website design and development, ecommerce, mobile apps, SEO and digital marketing, plus a set of business software products the team builds and maintains in-house, including queue management, appointment booking, CRM and HR systems.
That last part is the main thing separating Awebstar from most agencies on this list: if your website needs to connect to a booking system or a CRM, it’s the same team on both sides of the integration rather than two vendors pointing at each other. This makes Awebstar a web design agency in Singapore that can handle both the website and the business systems behind it.
Awebstar is also a PSG-approved vendor, which matters if you’re a Singapore SME looking to offset part of the cost through the Productivity Solutions Grant.
| Services | Website design & development · Ecommerce · Shopify development · Mobile app development · SEO & digital marketing · Business software |
| Founded | 2007 |
| Portfolio | Browse the portfolio |
| Notable clients | FoodPanda · Green Mint Restaurant · TG SEA Development · Far App · Singapore General Hospital · Singapore Polytechnic · National University of Singapore |
| Google rating | 4.8 |
| Pricing | Fixed quote based on scope |
| Location | 03 Raffles Place, #08-01B Bharat Building, Singapore 048617 |
Worth knowing: the software products mean integration work doesn’t get subcontracted, and PSG eligibility can materially change the cost for a qualifying SME. If you want a straightforward brochure site with no systems behind it, that advantage doesn’t apply to you.
2. SBWD

SBWD is a Singapore web design company that has delivered over 500 projects since 2009, working mainly with local SMEs and clients across the Asia Pacific region. Their portfolio leans bright and visually distinctive — worth a look if you want something that doesn’t read as corporate-default.
| Services | Web design · Ecommerce · Website security & maintenance · Custom web development |
| Founded | 2009 |
| Notable clients | Asia Partners · FSI · GNOMON Watches · HS Electric Bus · Hillside Academy · LUKE’S · The University of Manchester |
| Google rating | 5.0 |
| Pricing | On request |
| Contact | +65 6980 8096 |
| Location | Ubi Ave 4, UB. One, #08-12, Singapore 408830 |
Worth knowing: strong on distinctive visual design and ongoing maintenance. A 5.0 rating usually means a smaller review base than an agency at 4.6 with 270 reviews — read the actual reviews rather than the number.
3. Lemonade

Lemonade is a Singapore web design agency focused on digital branding, working largely with SMEs and startups. They position themselves as an extension of a client’s marketing team rather than a project vendor, and cite an average client relationship of around eight years — an unusual metric to publish, and a meaningful one if retention matters to you.
| Services | Web design · Digital branding · Ongoing marketing support |
| Founded | 2012 |
| Google rating | Not Available |
| Pricing | Instant estimate tool on their site |
Worth knowing: the instant estimate tool gives you a number without a sales call, which is rare in this market. Better suited to brand-led projects than complex functional builds.
4. OOm Pte Ltd

Operating since 2006, OOm is one of the longer-established digital agencies in Singapore, covering web development alongside SEO, content and paid media. Their client list skews larger than most on this list — Logitech, Alibaba Group, Hitachi, Decathlon — which suggests comfort with enterprise procurement and longer approval cycles.
| Services | Website development · Google marketing · Content marketing · SEO · Social media marketing |
| Founded | 2006 |
| Notable clients | Logitech · British Council · Rentokil · Decathlon · Alibaba Group · Hitachi · SP Group |
| Google rating | 4.9 |
| Pricing | Project-based, custom quotes |
Worth knowing: the highest review volume on this list, which makes the rating more reliable than a perfect score on a handful of reviews. Marketing-led, so the web build is often part of a broader retainer.
5. eFusion Technology

eFusion has been operating since 2004, making it the longest-running company here. They keep design and development in-house and cover ecommerce, CMS builds and EDM alongside standard web design. The client list is notably institutional — SBF Foundation, Singapore Maritime Foundation, SingEx.
| Services | Web development · Ecommerce development · Web and UX/UI design · Responsive design |
| Founded | 2004 |
| Notable clients | BYND ARTISAN · SingEx · Simmons · Negen · Lifestorey · SBF Foundation · Singapore Maritime Foundation |
| Google rating | 4.8 |
| Pricing | Custom quote |
Worth knowing: over twenty years in the market and a track record with foundations and trade bodies. A good fit if you need an agency comfortable with committee approval and institutional stakeholders.
6. MediaPlus Digital

MediaPlus Digital has worked with more than 1,000 Singapore SMEs since 2013, building on WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify. Their emphasis is conversion rather than aesthetics alone, and they pair web builds with SEO, paid social and CRO.
| Services | Web design & development · Digital marketing · SEO · Social media ads · Conversion rate optimisation |
| Founded | 2013 |
| Notable clients | The North Face · Caritas Singapore · Singapore University of Social Science · National University of Singapore · CapitaLand · Singtel |
| Google rating | 4.9 |
| Pricing | Custom quote |
Worth knowing: high SME volume and a CRO focus. If you want conversion improvements rather than a visual refresh, they lead with that.
7. SG Web Builder

Operating under 8Clicks Pte Ltd, SG Web Builder has delivered over 1,000 websites since 2010. They’re the only company on this list publishing a price range up front, and they run a “pay only when work is delivered” policy — both of which reduce the risk on a first project.
| Services | Web design · Ecommerce design & development · Social media marketing |
| Founded | 2010 |
| Notable clients | ADNA Global · Heaven Schoolhouse · IMT Tech · Titan Digital Media · Alpha Shading · Raffles Medical Group |
| Google rating | Not Available |
| Pricing | S$1,500 – S$2,999 [VERIFY] |
| Contact | +65 8588 2566 |
| Location | 6 Raffles Boulevard, Marina Square, #03-308, Singapore 039594 |
Worth knowing: the most transparent pricing here and the lowest entry point, which makes them a reasonable option for a first business website. No published Google rating, so ask for references directly.
8. Orfeostory

Orfeostory has been designing and building websites in Singapore since 2011, covering website design and mobile app development. Their focus is bespoke creative work for local businesses and personal brands, with post-launch support included.
| Services | Website design · Mobile app development · Ongoing support |
| Founded | 2011 |
| Google rating | 4.8 |
| Pricing | Custom quote |
Worth knowing: fourteen years of local work with a design-led approach. Most of their portfolio is local businesses and personal brands rather than enterprise.
9. JIN

JIN is a Singapore web development and digital marketing agency founded in 2016 — the youngest company on this list. They build custom sites end to end, from copywriting and layout through to coding, and include maintenance and security monitoring after launch. UX, interface design and website copywriting are all handled in-house.
| Services | Website development · Digital marketing · Business intelligence · App development |
| Founded | 2016 |
| Google rating | 4.6 |
| Pricing | Custom quote |
Worth knowing: copywriting in-house is genuinely uncommon and removes a step that stalls most web projects. Fewer years in the market than others here, so weigh the portfolio more heavily than the tenure.
10. Verz Design

Verz Design has operated in Singapore since 2009 and works across website design, Shopify Plus ecommerce, enterprise solutions and digital marketing. Theirs is the most recognisable client list on this list — Panasonic, Bloomberg, Singapore Airlines, ASICS, CapitaLand.
| Services | Website design · Ecommerce website design · Corporate website design · Digital marketing · SEO |
| Founded | 2009 |
| Notable clients | Panasonic · Bloomberg · Singapore Airlines · National University of Singapore · Mayer · SMBC · ASICS · CapitaLand |
| Google rating | 4.6 |
| Pricing | Custom quote |
Worth knowing: the strongest enterprise client list here, and a large enough review base for the 4.6 to be meaningful. Enterprise-scale process can mean longer timelines on smaller projects.
How to choose between them
The list above tells you who exists. Narrowing it down comes to five questions:
Does their portfolio contain work like yours?
An agency that has built twenty ecommerce stores and no professional services sites is a poor match for a law firm, regardless of how good those stores look.
Is the quote fixed or hourly?
A fixed quote transfers scope risk to the agency. An hourly estimate transfers it to you. Ask which you’re getting before you compare prices at all.
Who actually does the work?
Some agencies here design and develop in-house; others subcontract development. Neither is disqualifying, but you should know before you sign, because it determines who you talk to when something breaks.
What happens after launch?
A website needs security updates, plugin maintenance and content changes. Ask what’s included, what’s billed, and what the response time is.
Can they show results, not just screenshots?
Load time, mobile scores, enquiry volume before and after. An agency that tracks these will tell you the numbers. One that doesn’t will show you more screenshots.
Verify before you sign
Two checks worth ten minutes each:
- Read the actual Google reviews, not the score. A 5.0 across 12 reviews tells you less than a 4.6 across 270. Look for reviews that describe the process, not just the outcome.
- Check ACRA for the company’s registration and incorporation date. It takes two minutes and confirms whether the “established in” date on their website is accurate.
