What is the EDGE Grant?
The EDGE Grant is Enterprise Singapore's business grant for Singapore companies starting new projects to upgrade capabilities, improve efficiency and expand overseas. It covers 8 business areas and more than 150 activities, and it replaced EDG, MRA and PSG for new applications from 30 September 2026.
Is the PSG grant still available?
No. PSG stopped accepting new applications after 29 September 2026. New applications are now made under the EDGE Grant. PSG applications submitted before that date, and projects already approved, continue to be processed under PSG, and claims can be submitted when the project is complete.
Who is eligible for the EDGE Grant?
Your company must be a business entity registered in Singapore with at least 30% Singaporean and/or Singapore PR ownership. For SME-level support, your group must have annual sales of not more than S$100 million, or no more than 200 workers. Other conditions can apply depending on the activity, and non-profit organisations cannot apply.
Can I use the EDGE Grant for Shopify?
Shopify development can be supported when your project is delivered through an eligible EDGE activity and an IMDA Pre-Approved Solution. Our Awebstar Ecommerce Solution packages cover Shopify store setup, payment integration, product and inventory management and SEO foundations. We confirm that your specific project fits the activity before you commit.
How much funding can I get?
Eligible SMEs can receive up to 50% support for ecommerce solutions, depending on the activity and approval. Across all activities, each company can receive up to S$100,000 per year, and up to S$30,000 of that can go to single-function digital solutions, integrated enterprise systems and pre-scoped equipment. The cap resets each year on 1 April.
How do I apply for the EDGE Grant?
Find your activity on the Enterprise Singapore EDGE page or BizSG, choose your solution, and submit the application on the Business Grants Portal using Corppass. Your company must submit the application itself. We prepare your quotation and supporting documents and guide you through the steps.
Do I need to pay or sign before applying?
No, and you should not. Applications are not supported if work has started or a deposit or payment has been made to the vendor before you submit. You may proceed after submission, but you carry the risk if the application is not approved, so we recommend waiting for your Letter of Offer.
How long does approval take?
Processing time depends on the EDGE activity you apply under, and Enterprise Singapore shows it on each activity page. Delays can happen if details are missing or incorrect, so we prepare your quotation and supporting documents carefully. Your company submits its own application on the Business Grants Portal. We will tell you what to expect once your activity is confirmed.
How is the grant paid?
EDGE is paid on a reimbursement basis. Complete the project, pay the vendor in full, then submit a single final claim on the Business Grants Portal. Additional claims are not allowed afterwards, so make sure all costs are included. Claims for single-function digital solutions open from 1 November 2026.
What documents do I need?
Requirements vary by activity. You will generally need your company details, a vendor quotation and the solution or project details, and you may be asked for supporting company records. The activity page on the Enterprise Singapore website lists the exact documents, and we help you prepare the ones that relate to our solution.
Can I change vendors after approval?
No. Once your application is approved, the vendor cannot be changed. If you need a different vendor, you must terminate the application and submit a new one before starting work or paying.
Can I claim EDGE if I used PSG before?
Yes, you can apply for EDGE if you previously applied for or received PSG, EDG or MRA. EDGE is for new projects, so you cannot seek support again for a project that was already funded.
Is approval guaranteed?
No. All applications are assessed by Enterprise Singapore. We provide quotations and supporting documents, and we explain the process, but we cannot guarantee approval or a specific funding amount.
